Modernisation and support

We take over, stabilise and gradually rebuild older systems, then keep them running after launch.

Overview

Modernisation is for systems that still run the business but nobody wants to touch: old frameworks, missing tests, one person who knows how deployments work. We start with a code and infrastructure audit and a written findings report, then migrate in increments so the business never stops.

Support is the other half. After launch, many clients keep us on a monthly retainer with response-time commitments, covering monitoring, security updates, small improvements and the occasional emergency. You get the engineers who built or audited the system, not a helpdesk.

Scope

What you get, and who it is for.

Included

  • Code and infrastructure audit with a written findings report
  • Incremental migration off legacy frameworks
  • Cloud setup, CI/CD and monitoring on AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Monthly support retainer with response-time commitments

A good fit for

  • Companies with a legacy platform and a growing list of things it cannot do
  • Teams that inherited software from a previous vendor
  • Businesses that need reliable maintenance without hiring

Common questions

Questions we usually get.

Do you rewrite everything?
Rarely. Most systems are better served by incremental migration: stabilise, add tests, replace the riskiest parts first, and keep shipping throughout.
What does a support retainer include?
A fixed number of engineering days per month, monitoring and on-call during business hours, security patching, and a shared channel with the engineers who know your system.
