Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps with a shared codebase where it makes sense, and native where it does not.

Overview

We build iOS and Android apps with React Native or Flutter when a shared codebase makes sense, and native when the app depends on hardware, background processing or the last few percent of performance. Either way the app is designed for the platform it runs on, not a website squeezed into a phone.

Mobile projects come with the unglamorous parts included: store submissions, push notifications, offline behaviour, crash reporting and analytics. We also build the backend and admin tools the app talks to, so you are not stitching together two vendors.

Scope

What you get, and who it is for.

Included

  • React Native or Flutter cross-platform apps
  • Native iOS or Android when hardware or performance demands it
  • App Store and Play Store submission
  • Push notifications, offline mode and analytics

A good fit for

  • Products whose users are in the field, not at a desk
  • Companies adding a customer app to an existing service
  • Teams that need one codebase for both platforms

Common questions

Questions we usually get.

React Native or Flutter?
It depends on your team and your existing stack. If you already write TypeScript, React Native keeps one language across web and mobile. We recommend one in discovery and explain why.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes, including the review back-and-forth and the listing assets.
