About us
We built the studio we always wanted to hire.
Eterna was started by three people who spent their careers inside larger companies and agencies, watching good projects fail in the gaps between the people who sell, the people who manage and the people who build.
Our story
Most software projects do not fail because of technology. They fail in the handoffs: between the salesperson who promised and the engineer who delivered, between the agency that built it and the team that had to live with it. We wanted a studio without those gaps, so we removed the layers instead of adding process on top of them.
A founder leads every project, and our engineers and designers stay on it from scoping through support. The person you talk to on the first call reviews the work at launch and answers when something breaks a year later. That shape limits how much we can take on at once. We think it is the right trade.
Principles
Four rules we do not bend.
- 01
A founder on every project
We do not sell a senior team and staff a junior one. A founder is on every engagement from the first call to the last deploy, alongside the engineers doing the work.
- 02
Small by design
We run a limited number of projects at a time, never more than the founders can personally oversee. Sometimes that means a short wait. It never means a stranger on your project.
- 03
You own everything
Code in your repositories, infrastructure in your cloud accounts, documentation written for your team. There is no lock-in, and we like it that way.
- 04
We say no
To features that are not worth building, to projects we are not the right fit for, and to deadlines we do not believe. It saves everyone money.
The founders
Three founders, a senior team, and no layers in between.
We started Eterna after years of watching good projects fail in the gaps between sales, project management and engineering. So we built a studio without the gaps: a founder leads every project, and the team that scopes it is the team that ships it.
